Parkway Villa

Villa Renovation

The Brief

A villa's formal living and dining wing recast in cream, walnut and stone — calm, symmetrical, and lit from within rather than from above.

The room is organised around a single gesture: a bookmatched marble wall carrying the screen and a ribbon of fire, held between walnut piers with backlit display shelving. Curved boucle sofas face each other beneath a blown-glass chandelier, and a pair of sculptural woven pendants marks the fireside seat, where one burnt-orange chair breaks the neutral palette.

Beyond the sofas, a stone-topped dining table sits under a slim brass pendant against full-height drapes, while the circulation is traced in the floor itself — a circular inlay in the marble-look paving that centres the seating rug. Garden glazing on three sides keeps the whole wing bright and quiet.
