The Brief

A complete villa renovation at Hillcrest, Dubai Hills, reimagined as a refined family home where warm minimalism meets timeless luxury. Natural travertine, pale oak and richly layered textures create a calm, cohesive palette, while bespoke architectural details and carefully crafted joinery bring depth and character to every space.

The ground floor was designed for both entertaining and everyday living, centred around a sculptural natural stone kitchen and a series of beautifully connected living spaces. Travertine-clad feature walls, illuminated display niches and bespoke joinery establish a sense of understated elegance, while soft curves, custom furniture and layered lighting create a home that feels both welcoming and sophisticated. Throughout the villa, bespoke cabinetry, concealed doors and carefully considered material transitions ensure every room flows effortlessly into the next.

Downstairs, the home transforms into a dedicated leisure retreat, with a bespoke cinema, games lounge, bar and private gym designed around comfort, atmosphere and functionality. Outside, the garden was completely reimagined with sunken seating, an outdoor kitchen, fire pit and thoughtfully landscaped entertaining spaces, extending the home's architectural language beyond the interior.

Every element of the project was designed to balance beauty with practicality, creating a timeless family home where architecture, interiors and craftsmanship come together through one seamless design and build journey.
